Since the last issue of this Bulletin, conservation has lost some of its greatest allies. Kathy MacKinnon, Eleanor Sterling and, more recently, Gordon Miller. They were all titans in their fields and each made enormous contributions to nature conservation. We dedicate this issue to them, with gratitude for their inspiration and commitment. Read on for more about each of these leaders. The Commission has been busy on a great many fronts. You’ll find examples in this newsletter, and reports from all of them in our 2022 annual report.
