The COP15 of the Convention on Biological Diversity will take place from December 7 to 19 in Montreal, a unique opportunity to find concrete solutions to stop the decline of biodiversity once and for all.
The BIODEV2030 team will be there to bring biodiversity mainstreaming in the spotlight.
The interventions of project stakeholders (National Focal Points, private sector representatives, representatives of sectoral ministries) will be essential to :
– Provide concrete tools for the implementation of the future Global Framework for Biodiversity, by promoting the mainstreaming method experimented by the 16 BIODEV2030 countries,
– Convince other Parties that this method is adequate to achieve the objectives that will be set collectively,
– To give a voice to private sector actors whose mobilisation is necessary for the implementation of the future framework.
